Clinical Fellow Fy3-st2 in Acute Medicine

We are opening a brand-new acute floor at the end of this year. This will see the expansion and co-location of our assessment, admissions and short stay facilities enabling more efficient assessment of patients and reducing admissions and length of stay for those patients that require a hospital admission. The facility will run 24/7 and will provide an acute medical assessment unit with 18 spaces and eight monitored beds. This will be located next to a 35 bed Acute Medical Unit and 26-bed short stay ward within a horseshoe shaped design.
We are looking to appoint Clinical Fellow (FY3 Equivalent) Level at rotating on a 4 monthly bases through acute internal and general internal medical specialties. There may be the opportunity to rotate through surgical specialties and Accident and Emergency.
It is an opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic hospital team with a range of specialty interests and an excellent reputation for providing an educational and supportive environment and onward appointment to training posts.
Even though this post is not recognised for training, we have an established training program in the hospital including allocation of education and clinical supervisor, regular grand rounds and interdepartmental and divisional training sessions that is geared to post graduate training
