Trainee Laser

Hewines Engineering is based in West Bromwich and offers sub contract laser cutting, folding and fabrication. We also design and manufacture Stainless Steel and Aluminium equipment to the Food Industry.
- Will learn to operate our Amada break presses. HFE 8025 7 axis 80 Tonne 2.5m Bed and HFE 1030 8 axis 100 Tonne 3m bed.
- You will learn to set and program the break presses, change tooling, adjust x&y axis so the parts are correct to drawings.
- Learn to operate our Amada LCG and Ensis RI Lasers.
- Work to Health and Safety within the Sheet Metal department.
- Learn to take responsibility for the quality of the product produced and raises any issues with the Quality department.

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
