Equifind are supporting a global insurance provider underwriter based in the City to recruit an Technical Assistant

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this position is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for an entry-level position in the insurance sector.

**Key duties include**:

- Entry of Global underwriting policy data and endorsements in within set monthly deadlines
- Entry of Global and Run-Off claims record data processing within set monthly deadlines
- Processing of all daily premium and claims transactions for both Global and Run-Off in system to meet set monthly deadlines
- Action Notice of Cancellation issuance for underwriters and monitor broker responses until premium paid or Global comes off risk
- Participate in Written to Closed premium reconciliation and updated spreadsheets with comments on progress for review at monthly credit control meetings
- Meeting department service levels
- Meeting training and development goals

**Skills and knowledge**:

- Insurance market experience (approx. 1+ years’ experience)
- GCSE in Maths & English
- Ability to work on own initiative within set parameters
- Good customer service skills
- Confident understanding of relevant software / systems and keyboard skills

**Remuneration**:

- £25-28,000 base salary
- 25 days annual leave
- Private healthcare cover
- Employer pension contributions
- Flexi-working (ability to work from home 3 days pw)
