**Role**: Systems Designer

**Duration**: Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Systems Designer to join our team. As a Systems Designer you will be responsible for the design of critical systems of a huge AAA title. In this role you will be collaborating with the project leads and other designers to develop gameplay systems that support the vision of the game.

**Responsibilities**
- Design player progression systems
- Collaborate with the designers towards the game economy
- Balance and adapt your work based on technical and production constraints, playtest results, and comments from cross-functional teams.
- Analysing Blueprints and determining what could be improved, what should be moved to code, and what should be removed
- Creating detailed and easy to follow design documentation
- Proactively identifying workflow issues and offering solutions

**Required Experience**
- A published Game that can illustrate your work as a designer.
- Critical thinking, curiosity, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and plenty of flexibility
- Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- An understanding of player motivation & a passion for video games

**Desired Experience**
- A passion for games and the logic that creates them
- Shipped at least one game as a designer on PC or Console.

**Important**:
The interview process for the Systems Designer role is made up of 3 stages:

- First interview (45 minutes) - An informal chat to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with members of our Design team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
- Second interview (45 minutes) - Second Interview with our our Studio Creative Director and Studio Design Director. This role will be focussed on the project and your skills and experience. You will have the opportunity to understand how our design teams work and the overall structure of our teams.
- Final interview (30 minutes) - A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
