**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drone Pilot to join our team. As a Drone Pilot, you will be responsible for operating drones to capture aerial footage and images for various projects. Your expertise in drone operations and your ability to analyse data will contribute to the success of our projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct aerial surveys on residential & commercial buildings, solar farms and telecoms sites.
- Conduct pre-flight checks, monitor weather conditions, and assess potential hazards to ensure safe and successful operations.
- Plan and execute flight routes to capture desired data.
- Analyse captured data and footage for quality and accuracy.
- Generate comprehensive maps, 3D models, and analytical reports to support land surveying, engineering, and inspection projects (training can be provided).
- Process raw aerial data using industry-standard software tools such as Pix4D, DroneDeploy, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to determine project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain and clean drones and related equipment.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in drone technology.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:
- Drone License (GVC)
- Strong understanding of surveying techniques.
- Proven experience in operating DJI drones and conducting aerial surveys
- Proficiency in using drone-specific software for flight planning, data capture, and processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Confident and clear communicator - both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
- Professional manner with excellent customer facing skills
- Flexible and accommodating attitude (some working away from home will be required as we operate nationally)
- CSCS card (desired)
- Full UK driving licence

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
