**Overall Purpose of the Job**
We are excited to welcome an Onboarding Coordinator who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and committed to ensuring our new employees have a positive and successful start in their journey with our company. As an Onboarding Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all new starters joining our business. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the onboarding process, from preparing necessary assets to creating induction plans and conducting follow-ups. Your efforts will contribute to the successful integration of new employees into our organisation, fostering a welcoming and supportive work environment.
**Main duties & key responsibilities**
- **Onboarding Coordination**: Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to the first day of work.
- **Asset Management**: Prepare and organise all necessary assets, equipment, and resources required for new employees, in collaboration with relevant departments (e.g., IT, HR, fleet).
- **Induction Planning**: Implement induction plans tailored to each new employee's role and department, ensuring they receive the necessary information and training to excel in their positions (in conjunction with HR and Hiring Manager).
- **Follow-up and Support**: Conduct regular follow-up sessions with new starters to address any questions, concerns, or challenges they may face during their initial weeks, providing support and guidance as needed.
- **Onboarding Surveys**: Administer and analyse onboarding surveys to gather feedback from new hires regarding their experiences, identify areas of improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
- **Process Enhancement**: Continuously review and improve the onboarding process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall employee satisfaction.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with various teams, including HR, IT, Op’s and department heads, to ensure a cohesive and well-coordinated onboarding experience.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate records and documentation of the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- **Orientation Sessions**: Organise and facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new starters to the company's culture, values, and mission.

**Additional information**
This role is based at Great Chesterford Office in Saffron Walden. It may be necessary to work away from home overnight sometimes and attend social events outside normal working hours.

**Empathy and Support**: A caring and empathetic approach is crucial in providing support and guidance to new employees during their onboarding journey.
**Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires.
**Team Player**: Being a collaborative team player is vital in working alongside different departments to coordinate the onboarding process effectively.
**Adaptability**: The willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, as well as being open to feedback and continuous improvement, is highly valued

**Educational Background**: A good level of education
**Previous Work**:Worked in HR or Onboarding type roles previously
**Problem-Solving**: Proactive problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during the onboarding process and find effective solutions.
