Hotel Receptionist

**Hotel Receptionist - Part Time Night Shifts**
- Hours 11pm to 8am, full time (5 days per week), or part time considered (minimum 16 hours per week) with some options for more hours depending on the demands of the business, so flexibility is important to fit into this role.

**Hotel Receptionist**:

- Duties:
The role of the receptionist is to be the hub of the hotel at our main desk for all the guests staying with us; duties as below:

- Providing great customer service
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Completing check
- in's and check-out's
- Managing reservations
- Handling guests enquiries and complaints
- Taking Payments
- Hourly Patrolling and security walks of the property
- Maintain the hotel's security policy ensuring that the hotels property, assets and staff and guests are protected from loss, damage and threat
- Report and liaise regularly with the Hotel Manager, ensuring proactive communication
- Handle all security incidents and/or investigations as directed including interviewing and taking of statements
- Respond appropriately to any emergency and/or incident in the hotel
- Liaise with the fire brigade to assist with regular fire drills, fire training and inspections.
- Monitor guest key activity and report any concerns
- Must be approachable and discreet, displaying tact and diplomacy at all times
- Experience of writing reports and statements
- Ability to make sound and objective decisions
- Knowledge of hotel and security legislation
- Knowledge of fire, health and safety
- Working knowledge of CCTV, fire systems and locking systems

**Hotel Receptionist**:

- Skills / Experience Required:

- Good command of English both verbal and written
- Computer literate

**Hotel Receptionist** - Remuneration:

- Pay £10-11 per hour
