Duties to include:

- Operate shot blast plant and equipment
- Carry out pre-start up equipment checks, ie., compressor, water drains, shot levels etc.
- Maintain all shot blast equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
- Maintain shot blast work area in a safe and clean manner
- Ensure shot/grit is stored and stacked correctly and safely
- Once plant/items have been blasted, ensure appropriate markings are made for later reference and identification
- General plant cleaning which includes jet washing when required
- Individuals have a responsibility to adopt safe working methods so as not to endanger themselves or others
- Wear and maintain PPE issued by the company in a clean and serviceable condition
- You must be a conscientious individual with a proven ability to produce consistent quality and output of work.
- Occasional requirement to work off site
- Fork lift licence an advantage but training can be provided
- Manual lifting

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated including helping the wet paint and powder-coating plants when needed.

This is a permanent position following a successful trial period.

We offer a starting wage of £11.00 - 13.00 per hour depending on experience.

40 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 08:00 - 17:00. (1 hour for lunch and 2 x 15 min. breaks).

28 days paid annual leave, pro-rata for PAYE/RTI (inclusive of statutory holiday).
