Responsible for coordinating the loading and unloading of vessels and trailers or other base operative duties as directed by line supervisor. To supervise the Base Operative Team during cargo operations, ensuring a safe working environment is maintained at all times alongside delivering client requirements for each vessel. Ensuring both service delivery and team targets are met in accordance with customer or company requirements. Support the Operations Resources Supervisor in the supervision and management of quayside squad.

**Qualifications and experience**

Experienced in dealing with and/or supervising teams

Previous knowledge & experience of cargo operations, loading & unloading of vessels

Ability to manage changing priorities

Banksman slinger training necessary

Slinging & Rigging experience

Dangerous Goods by Sea - awareness
