Would you like to specialise in intensive care? We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly, supportive and exciting friendly team on ICU. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 NA within Intensive care at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

Our leadership team will continue to support you in all aspects of your role, from day-to day management of patients to providing bespoke raining for your continuing development.

A wealth of knowledge and experience on the ICU setting which allows individuals to develop and expand on clinical skills. The post offers opportunities to keep up to date with mandatory training and allow to develop further by completing extra training, expanding their knowledge / clinical skills i.e., Teaching cert, ILS and the Greater Manchester Critical Care Network NA competency framework. You will work as part of the disciplinary health care team providing planned care and delivering the highest standards of patient care within the ICU. The role is exciting and challenging, where compassion, teamwork, excellent communication skills, emotional resilience and initiative are paramount. You must be a great team player, motivated to work in a fast placed environment, with the ability to deal with non-routine and unpredictable nature of the workload and individual patient contact.
You should be positive and adaptable to a changing environment that prides itself on quality and efficiency, whilst remaining calm and diplomatic.
You must have the ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure, work within a large multidisciplinary team, and ensure the Trust Values are incorporated into practice. Development of skills in patient experience, patient safety, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance. Fundamental to this, is the development of a culture where excellent quality patient care is at the heart of all that we do.
