At blue lagoon we pride ourselves in being the number one choice for fish and chips, we have 17 stunning restaurants around central Scotland.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a new fish fryer/chef, to join our dedicated team and cook/fry exceptional food for our busy restaurant based in Largs.

Do you thrive in a fast paced and lively environment ? if you have a love for delivering great food with amazing attention to detail then we want to hear from you.

We are currently looking for a fish fryer to come and learn the Blue Lagoon way and to have a long lasting career with us.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has come from a food back ground, with prior kitchen experience. this being said we will train you the blue lagoon way.
- How we prepare and fry our potatoes
- How we prepare our fish for frying
- How we prepare batters
- How we prepare breaded fish
- And of course learning how to fry up our famous fish and chips for our customers

You will also learn
- how to produce, monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
- how to plate up and run the pass during a busy service, learning the takeaway and all aspects of what it takes to get great food out to our customers
- our targets for food wastage and how to achieve these.
