Insurance Underwriter Property

Responsibilities:

- Varied depending on level of applicant
- Assisting with the management of a substantial existing book of property business
- Business development within new and existing relationships
- Processing of slips, endorsements and initial claim notifications on property accounts
- Liaising with key producers and internal team members to ensure efficient and professional service delivery
- Liaising with finance teams to deliver accurate reporting and risk management delivery
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members and clients

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret insurance documents including slips, endorsements, policy wordings
- Detail-oriented

As a property undewriter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a growing and fast paced global property insurance portfolio

Your knowledge and skills will be seen as essential part of a dedicated and personable team. You will also need to be proficient in using basic IT tools such as word, excel and PDF to perform your duties effectively. Attention to detail, respect for others and excellent communication skills are also important for success in this role.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £50,000.00-£200,000.00 per year
