**To supervise operations incorporating all functions from receipt to delivery, ensuring that all aspects of customer requirements are met within the agreed budget.**

To provide effective leadership and motivation to the team ensuring all KPI’s are met.

Aid and support the management team to achieve objectives and share best practice.

Able to operate flexibly in a warehouse operation working environment, complying to all hygiene, health & safety, quality, and performance standards set by the business, our customers and compliance obligations.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage, mentor and coach direct reports in the creation of a successful and effective warehouse team providing clear direction as appropriate.
- To work within agreed budgetary limits ensuring strict cost control and spend to agreed levels
- Constantly test and review operational processes, to ensure they are repeatable, reliable, and capable.
- To ensure all KPI’s are met, driving continuous improvement, and sharing best practice.
- To communicate between all departments on site, ensuring all team members understand instructions and objectives.
- Responsible for establishing, implementing, and enforcing health and safety procedures which complies with all legal requirements.
- To be a recognised expert in warehouse and logistics operations with past success in a similar environment.
- Responsible for ensuring all customer and business requirements are met

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES**
- The ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers, staff, and wider teams.
- Understanding of kitting and strict quality control measures
- Financial understanding with experience of working to an agreed budget and managing costs
- Able to solve problems at their own level or as part of a team
- The flexibility to adapt and manage change
- Well - developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence at all levels.
- Ability to step up and cover warehouse manager in periods of holidays and absence
- Ability to prioritise, work independently and make progress on tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills - able to deal with people at all levels.
- Good leadership and team building skills.
- Proven delegating skills ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately

**CREDENTIALS QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPERIENCE**
- PC Literacy (proficient in MS Excel & Word) with experience and knowledge of relevant WMS systems.
- Working knowledge of current HR legislation
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics operation
- H&S training, qualification preferred but not required
- Good Organisational skills
- Ability to train and support staff.
