**The Role**:

- To provide direct clinical care, which encompasses dietetic assessment, treatment and management of patients.
- To act as a source of expertise on nutritional therapy to patients, general public, other health care professionals including medical staff and GPs.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Member of British Dietetic Association
- Evidence of working or clinical placement within an acute hospital setting.
- Evidence of CPD
- Knowledge of specialist dietetic interventions relevant to post.
- Current driving License

37.5 hours

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in the Nutrition and Dietetics department within University Hospital Monklands

The working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday 8:30 to 4:30
