Estimator - Brickwork

**Job Title**: Estimator - Stonework / Brickwork

**Location**: Wickham Bishops, Essex, UK

**Salary**: £40,000 - £60,000+

**Job Type**: Full-time

Most of the work is based in and around London with some iconic projects being the Royal College of Art, Tate Modern - Switch House, York House, One Blackfriars, City Hall, Ascot Racecourse and many more.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for brickwork and stonework projects
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that estimates are accurate and up-to-date
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials
- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities
- Review and analyse subcontractor quotes and proposals
- Prepare bid packages and proposals
- Attend site meetings as required
- Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders as required

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills
