OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

- Working hours: Monday - Friday, 7am to 5pm

THE WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

As our client grows our production operations and take on additional warehouse space, we need a Warehouse Operator with an active Forklift licence to join our small warehouse team in Paddock Wood.
- Assisting with the unloading of scheduled deliveries and the checking in of stock including sorting/placing materials on to racks, and shelves.
- You will support the production teams by collecting materials from throughout the warehouse and deliver to the production & fulfilment lines according to the production plan schedule.
- Supporting with the Warehouse Manager with inventory controls, stock counting and location checks.
- Carrying out all duties in safe and controlled manner.
- You will support the Warehouse Manager with a variety of daily, weekly and ad-hoc duties as well as supporting the production management team.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Will need to have strong experience in a similar Warehouse role. You will also need to have:

- A current active forklift is required (reach truck and counterbalance)
- A full UK driving license is essential
- Proven experience of working in a warehouse/packing environment
- An experienced communicator who can confidently communicate at all levels within the warehouse environment
- A good level of reading and written English skills with other European languages an advantage
- Work under your own initiative or as part of a team
- A good working knowledge of health & safety best practices in a warehouse environment
