Established over 100 years ago, this is to work for one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based packaging. They have over 130 facilities worldwide and circa 24000 employees and produce packaging for brands in the food, beverage, food service, household, personal care and pet care products.
- **The role-**_

Recruiting for a skilled Printer on a 4 shift working pattern.

You will become a proactive member of the machine crew and work with the team to achieve its targets through continuous improvement and monitoring of efficiencies and quality.
- **Responsibilities-**_
- Deal with day-to-day print issues as they arise, in conjunction with the Printer/Machine Crew/ Team Leaders/Shift Leaders.
- Liaise regularly with the Machine Crew to ensure working to schedule.
- Work towards targets set and consistently demonstrate an understanding and achievement of changing customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with Shift Leaders on progress/problems on the machines.
- Ensure compliance with ISO systems, standards and procedures.
- Strive to achieve total customer satisfaction for work produced on the machine.
- Seek to reduce waste levels and sub-standard work being produced.
- Ensure compliance with all existing systems, standards and procedures within the department in terms of hygiene, health & safety, environmental.
- Pro-actively identify issues and opportunities within the department, and discuss with the relevant personnel to identify possible solutions.
- Embrace changes throughout the business.
- It is essential that you have technical expertise in all aspects of specific production processes with a good mechanical ability. You will have a high level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
- You will be a fully qualified printer and competent in large format.
- **Experience-**_
- Preferably have experience of a large format Roland 900 printer
- Preferably have experience of carton printing
- Have experience of preparing the machines ready to start printing, diagnosing and rectifying running faults

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£41,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Lithographic Print: 2 years (required)
