Mott Motorcycles was established in 1975 and still runs as a family owned business to date. Today it is one of the largest new Premier XP Yamaha Dealership with a range of used motorcycles and scooters. We have a large clothing and accessories department to keep riders on the road, as well as the supply of motorcycle parts and servicing for a variety of brands.

We are looking to add an additional clothing and parts advisor to the team. Previous experience in retail is essential, and even better, if you have experience in motorcycle retail, e-commerce, clothing, parts, sales, or as a motorcycle rider, then this would be extremely beneficial to your recruitment.

You will be taking on a variety of roles, all of which you will be trained over many weeks & months. The products, safety, clothing and accessories are constantly changing and it really is a job that you will find yourself learning new information everyday. We will provide training in all areas (mainly physically but with some online training as well), whilst also taking care not to over-load you.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic to learn, self initiated, motivated and **reliable**. We need you to ensure that the highest level of customer care and satisfaction are maintained at all times.

We will be looking for someone who can work 8:30 - 17:30, 5 days a week, but **must work** Saturdays (09:00 - 17:30) with a day off during the week at your choice.

**Job Details & Your Responsibilities**:

- Using online systems to look up parts for customers and workshop.
- Pricing up and quoting workshop jobs.
- Managing workshop jobs and keeping customers updated on the progress of their bike or parts.
- Ordering and booking out accessories, clothing, and parts.
- Identifying the customers needs and requirements, sizing them and advising them of the safest fit.
- Invoicing and taking payments.
- Packaging, dispatching and processing online orders.
- Updating and adding to our website.
- Promote customer benefits.
- Always having the customer in mind before any task.
- Maximising awareness of the many products and services that we offer.
- Greeting all customers, making them feel welcome and introducing them to other staff if they are more relevant to their visit.
- You must be able to follow and understand our general sales procedure (you will receive training over a series of months, most of which should come naturally to you from basic customer service).

**Essential**:

- An interest and general knowledge in motorcycles.
- Computer literate.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Be able to use your own initiative.
- Highly motivated.
- Good writing and number skills.
- An eye for detail.
- Previous retail experience.
- Quick to pick up training.
- Reliable to us, but also our customers.

**Beneficial**:

- Knowledge of Motorcycle apparel.
- Knowledge of basic Motorcycle mechanics.
- Experience in motorcycle parts/clothing sales background.
- Experience as a rider.
- Any certificated experience in clothing or parts sales.
