Loader Operative

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, as a Loader Operative, you will be responsible for:

- Operating a modern telescopic loader with due care and attention
- Completing daily checks and light maintenance
- Sampling and recording moisture content on incoming loads
- Directing HGV’s and pedestrians around the facility
- Daily stock controlling to maintain appropriate supplies
- Adhering to strict health & safety standards
- Any other duties necessary to ensure optimal facility production

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- Previous experience operating industrial machinery
- Good working knowledge of light maintenance duties
- Rough Terrain Telehandler license desirable, however full training can be provided
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Motivated attitude with a willingness to learn

ESSENTIAL
- Right to work in UK without restrictions
- Full UK driving licence
- Your own reliable car/transport
- Living or willing to relocate within a 60-minute commute of PE16 6XE

PACKAGE:

- Salary depending on experience
- 4-on /4-off Day shift - Overtime available
- 12-hour shifts (06.00 - 18.00)
