Advanced Gastro Dietitian

This is a fantastic opportunity for a full time Band 7 Advanced Gastro Dietitian to join our Acute Team at Worthing Hospital.

We are looking for someone with excellent acute experience including complex nutrition support and all types of enteral nutrition.

You will have some experience in medical & surgical gastro including management of patients with IBD, pancreatitis, liver disease and parenteral nutrition.

Experience in managing patients with Eating Disorders during acute admission and/or ability to cover Critical Care during leave of colleagues is also desirable although additional training can be provided.

We can offer you fantastic support to develop your clinical and dietetic skills in a really friendly and forward thinking department.

On the Worthing site we also provide specialist services to oncology, head & neck cancer, home enteral feeding, paediatrics (both in & outpatients) and diabetes. Our team shares a large open plan office and offers great exposure to a wide range of specialisms.

We work closely together and get fully involved in a range of department projects across our wider dietetic department which has over 110 dietitians at University Hospitals Sussex.

This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in leading & developing the acute gastroenterology service at Worthing hospital including staff training, audit & research and service improvement.
