**About The Role**:
**Salary**: £23,500 - £28,090 per annum, depending on experience
**Location**: Travel required across Essex, with Chelmsford office base
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**:Full-Time, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9-5

Since 2009 our sensory team has delivered a range of services across Essex for people who have sight, hearing, or dual sensory loss. Our objective is to develop a society where people with sensory impairments have the same access to services and businesses as everyone else.
As a Trusted Assessor, you'll be an integral part of the team, engaging with customers and introducing services available in order to maximise their independence and achieve individualised goals. You'll carry out initial assessments, outcome focused support planning, and subsequent customer reviews.
This is an exciting opportunity to really embed yourself into the sensory community; gaining and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of local resources. Work closely with our team of specialist workers, as well as other external health and social care professionals, to maximise the support available to our customers.
**About You**:
**To be considered as a Trusted Assessor, you need**:
- Experience of assessing individuals within a health or social care setting
- A driving license and use of personal vehicle for work purposes
- To be confident travelling around the whole Essex area
- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong computer
- Attention to detail to ensure customer details are accurate and updated
- Experience dealing with sensitive data and understanding of Information Governance
- The ability to build and develop strong relationships
- The ability and confidence to work independently and manage your own time A proactive, adaptable and customer focussed work ethic
