**Service and Installation EngineerPosition Overview**

My client are leaders in the design and manufacture of Stainless Steel and Aluminium equipment. They are an exceptionally well resourced and highly regarded British manufacturer with many innovative products specified domestically, and internationally.

With recent growth in their service department, they require a Service and Installation Engineer to join them in a new and dynamic role. You will undertake installation, service, and repair work on a range of machinery and equipment such as conveyors, lifters,tippers, and other capital equipment including Hydrotherapy machines. The role will be field based working at customer sites in the UK, worldwide, and at times the company premises in Shropshire.

Responsibilities include:

- Site installation and commissioning of equipment
- Service and repair of machinery and equipment on customer sites
- Fitting, wiring and assembly of products
- Fault finding on both mechanical & electrical systems
- Complete Site Reports using Red Zebra Software
- Complete Expenses and hours submission in a timely manner
- Ensure good husbandry practices including van checks as necessary
- Seek out new business opportunities via service & repair work from existing and new customers
- Forge quality customer relationships by liaising professionally with customers whilst on site
- Attend service meetings as required

**Service and Installation EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Formal mechanical/electrical qualification or apprenticeship
- 18th Edition
- Experience fault finding on hydraulic & Pneumatic systems
- Understanding of schematic & engineering drawings
- Good team player
- Self-Motivated
- Well organised and structured
- Excellent communicator
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable
- PLC knowledge & fault-finding experience
- Understanding of electrical drawings
- Familiar with FMCG industry and or Hydrotherapy equipment such as water spas etc
- Food Safety Passport
- CSCS
- IPAF

**Service and Installation EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- 40 hour basic week.
- Weekend and evening work as required, including overnight stays and early starts (depending on job location and customer requirements etc.)
- Overtime as required according to workload
- Travel throughout the UK and abroad
