Dog Groomer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. **Responsibilities**:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during the grooming process
- Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health, and communicate any concerns to pet owners or veterinary staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including proper sanitation of equipment and tools
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing pet owners' questions and concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Keep accurate records of services provided and maintain client information in our database

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs and cats
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety throughout the grooming process
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Basic understanding of animal behavior and body language
- Proficiency in using grooming tools such as clippers, shears, brushes, combs, and nail trimmers
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting larger dogs onto grooming tables)
- Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
