Our Stafford site are now recruiting for an Apprentice Transport Operations Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.

Working hours: Days - 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00

**Job Description**:
The purpose of an Apprentice Transport Operations Administrator is to provide effective administrative support to the Transport Department.

Key Duties of an Apprentice Transport Operations Administrator:

- Correctly debrief drivers
- Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
- Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system
- Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
- Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
- Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
- Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs
- Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
- Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
- Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
- Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
- Cover Breaks
- Ensure all trailers are tracked for MD depot

**Qualifications**:

- No experience required as training will be given
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- GCSE's or equivalent
- Attention to detail / accuracy
- Conscientious and reliable
- Positive and adaptable attitude
- Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
