We are looking for a competent Accounts Payable Assistant who wants to join a growing business, within the environmental sector. You will establish yourself as a key member of the finance team and be a reliable point of contact for any finance queries.

As the company expands and the department grows, there may be the potential to move up within the team. You will also have the opportunity to working closely with the Senior Accounts Payable Assistant, taking ownership of the management of the finance inbox and keeping on top of bank reconciliations each week.

**About the role**

The purpose of this role is to provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect to all payments of invoices and expenses through the purchase ledger, as well as providing support with the Deltek and finance administration requirements of the business.

Some of your duties will include working to month-end deadlines, processing and dealing with supplier invoices, processing credit card expenses and prioritising expense payment runs.

This is a hybrid-role and would require 2 days a month in our Stockport office.

**About you**

Communication will be a strong skill as you will be liaising to project managers. An understanding of Microsoft excels including basic formulas and pivot tables will be required for this role. Finance-related degree or AAT qualification would be desirable, but not necessary.
