Recruitment Consultant

Due to the continued success of the business and to support further growth, Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are actively looking to take on another **Recruitment Consultant** to focus on Permanent Recruitment.

This is a great opportunity to join a small successful team based in Elland. We have lovely office space and a friendly, supportive environment.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous experience of running their own desk, focussed primarily on permanent recruitment.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Build a profitable desk, targeting new customers and your network for permanent recruitment
- Negotiate terms of business with clients
- Client visits, build relationships, get a good understanding of the business, culture, requirements etc
- Take comprehensive job descriptions, person specifications, salary and remuneration details
- Arrange registrations / interviews, via telephone, Zoom / Teams or in person where possible and practical
- Compliance checks, ensuring we are legally compliant in all business activities.
- Shortlist for clients, sending through CVs with comprehensive notes.
- Handle any verbal offers and rejections on behalf of the client, confirm start dates etc
- Create an invoice instruction for the accounts department
- Generally, muck in, answer the phone, take messages, make the occasional brew etc.

**Expectations - very realistic and achievable**
- Not immediately, but certainly within 6 months, I would expect that you'd be regularly billing £10k per month in perm fees.
- It's not an environment where you are aggressively managed with targets for everyday activities, you'll be judged on results, how you achieve them is down to you.
