**Excellent opportunity for an experienced Dispatch and Logistics Supervisor**

**Are you confident enough to come in and implement new procedures and changes to improve the efficiency of the operation and team?**

**Mon - Fri**

**7:00am - 3:30pm (40hrs)**

**£32,000 p/a**

**Job Specification**
- Organise and supervise picking/loading teams, ensuring that loads are complete and deliveries are on time in full.
- Assist in the transport planning, ensuring good vehicle utilisation and cost effectiveness.
- Supervise a small team of window glazers, ensuring quality, productivity and volume all meet KPI's.
- Monitor and analyse "failure rate", and in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, implement permanent corrective actions.
- Liaise with Production Managers and Depot Managers to progress and advise changes to delivery schedule.

**Skills and attributes**
- Good team player, with previous experience supervising teams in a busy Despatch / Production environment.
- Health and safety aware, preferably IOSSH trained.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable using a computer (excel and word experience would be useful).
- Experience working to high quality standards, processes and procedures.
- Can demonstrate good problem solving skills, preferably with experience in formal problem solving techniques (eg 8D, 5WHY, pareto analysis)
- Hands on, "can-do" approach.
- Continuous improvement, able to identify improvements and work with the team to drive and own the changes.
- Experience in training and developing people and processes.
- Willing to work additional hours as dictated by workload within the department.
