Are you looking for work that makes a difference? Do you want to work with people who learn and grow together?

If so, Opencast could be the place for you. We’re a growing tech consultancy that creates user-centred solutions with purpose for our clients in government and business.

**The role**

We’re looking for a Bid Coordinator to work closely with our Bid Manager and Bid Writers. Your role will involve supporting new sales and account retention initiatives. You’ll do this by delivering high-quality, on-time, winning RFP/RFI responses. You'll be responsible for pre-filling initial responses using the RFP database. This will include editing, proofreading, and formatting response documents.

Within this role, you'll manage client bid documentation and establish SharePoint folders. You'll develop relationships with the wider team and provide key information about each bid opportunity.

You’ll assist with preparing for and facilitating initial bid qualification calls. You'll monitor the shared mailbox for new opportunities. You'll also triage bids. You’ll then manage the qualification process with technical and commercial representatives.

Working with the Bid Manager, you'll play a vital part in ensuring submissions meet client requirements. You'll maintain the database of written responses by adding new content and update existing content. This role is instrumental in supporting daily RFP activities to assist the team in crafting winning proposals.

This role will require flexibility. You'll sometimes need to work outside of regular hours. This is to meet tight business deadlines and workload.

**Essential skills**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

Significant experience in a bid coordination or proposal management role.

Working with wider teams, building strategic relationships with stakeholders to optimise bid collateral.

Organised with a proactive approach.

Experience managing workload and maintaining the smooth end-to-end Bid Management process.

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe DC and comfortable working with graphics.

**Other helpful experience**:
Experience with Jira and SharePoint.

Knowledge of technology consultancy services, methods and technologies.

**Salary**:
Salary range £31,000 - £45,000

**What our offer includes**

A competitive pension, health cash plan, share options and discretionary bonus.

Flexible hours and 25 days' holiday. Generous training budget.

People to support you every step of the way.

**Where you’ll work**

Your working time at Opencast will be split between multiple locations, including from our HQ and hub locations, or home. Travel is part of life at Opencast, and takes in account requirements of your work, and your team.

**We include you**

**Interview**

Job interviews are on Microsoft Teams. We’ll make any adjustments to help you.
