**Main Duties you will be performing**:
Supervisory
- POC for customer in relation to all works under your control, with focus on maintaining relationships and increasing revenue though them whilst building relationships with new stakeholders to increase revenue further through additional client base.
- Focus on efficiency and continuous improvement to optimise operational performance of the Team. This will be achieved by increasing productivity and better use of resources, materials, time spent on activities and associated costs providing best value solutions to our site-based client.
- Ensure sufficient resources including; labour, parts, materials and tools and equipment have been arranged and are in place in order for works to be completed within agreed KPIs.
- Responsible for people management and general HR processes for the team - training, communication, recruitment, welfare absence management etc.
- Providing support to the Regional Manager on service delivery of billable works, performance management, and increasing self delivery of works using in house labour.
- Report as required to managers on operational performance and improvement plans and provide requested data, statistics and financial information
- Promote a pro-active safety culture. This will include checking of risk assessments, method statements as well as conducting site safety inspections and audits for internal and External Supply chain.
- Responsible for ensuring Company procedures and Health and Safety legislation are adhered to and implemented by on site all delivery teams and lead by example to adhere to company processes and in support of ISO 9001 quality systems accreditation
Project Management
- Responsible for scoping, costing and project managing life cycle replacement and client generated additional works projects, and produce project plan for works under your control and amend to suit milestones and changes in the delivery plan to facilitate effective financial forecasting.
- Ensure all project opportunities are assessed for commercial and safety risks and priced accordingly
- Responsible for the delivery on time and within budget of project works including pre-start meetings, health and safety, programme and snagging for a variety of project types including mechanical and electrical, building and minor works
- Maintain project Records in line with Contract, Company and legislative requirements to include CDM, Business QMS (Quality Management System) processes and contract JSPs.
- Monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with client and company health and safety processes and procedures including CDM regulations
- Appoint and manage suitable contractors and direct labour staff to deliver the site works; ensuring they have required competencies for their roles
- Display a sound knowledge of contract requirements for the services managed
- Report on project status at banding and project meetings and detail any necessary recovery plans to achieve project targets and deadlines
**Required Skills and Abilities**:
Essential:
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent work experience in a management and/or technical discipline
- Previous management experience within a Project Management environment across multiple sites/Disciplines
- Completed or willing to undertake IOSH Managing Safely and management development qualifications
Desirable:
- Previous knowledge and experience of MoD contracts or work with security environments
- Completed or willing to work towards a lead management qualification and SMSTS/IOSH/NEBOSH
- Microsoft Project Experience
**Salary**: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
