**Part Time Receptionist Vacancy Available**

We are looking for a compassionate, friendly and highly motivated receptionist to deliver the best possible care to our clients and their pets.

This is a dynamic, demanding position where no two days are the same. You will need to have a high degree of accuracy, work well under pressure and be a good team player. This does require someone who is comfortable working alone at a small branch.

**Example of administrative and reception duties to include**:

- Warmly meeting & greeting pets and their owners
- Managing the front desk
- Registering, updating client/pet’s records & scheduling appointments
- Telephone enquiries
- Assist veterinarians/nurses with administrative tasks
- Processing payments & end of day banking procedures
- Looking after the dispensary & dispensing medication
- Keeping reception clean and tidy and restocked
- Helping the vet with animals if needed
- Scanning, filing and updating practice records
- Ensure all daily paperwork completed (lab reports, consent forms, vaccination paperwork etc.).
- Maintain stock levels on a daily basis (food or special orders for the surgery or clients).

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate proven reception experience or similar and hold strong administration, organisational and customer service skills.

**Hours and pay**:
20 Hours per week - National Living Wage
- Monday’s and Friday’s (8:30am - 6:30pm)
- Saturdays
- 1 in 4 (9am - 1pm)
