On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a** Payroll Officer **for a **6-month** contract based in **London. **This will be Hybrid work model (50% from office and 50% from home)

**Job description - the role** As a Payroll Officer, you will**:

- Assist with the delivery of the Payroll processing services as per the agreed payroll calendar. The tasks include:

- Completing the monthly tasks and reconciliations accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.
- Ensuring the appropriate approvals is in place for all payroll payments and adjustments.
- Answering queries from employees in relation to their pay.
- Managing the payment of third parties.
- Ensuring the correct treatment of benefits offered under the Company flexible benefits scheme across all group companies/
- Checking the monthly payrolls, checking and sign-off of the monthly BACS payment.
- Completion of annual payroll processes such as P11D's and P60s.
- Providing reports and data to all companies as agreed for statutory and internal functions and internal controls.
- Being the point of contact for any employee queries.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with HR, Internal clients, Finance team and other group entities.
- Provide advice on PAYE related matters.
- Understanding of the complete payroll process, including year-end, P11Ds and PSA.
- Understanding of PAYE legislation and market practice.
- Good admin skills.
- Excellent accuracy and proactive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.**
