**About the role**:
Vision for Education are working with a local mainstream primary school in Blackpool who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who will also carry out Welfare Assistant duties.

The typical working hours will be 9:15am to 1:15pm, perfect for those looking for a part-time role. This will be term-time only, Monday-Friday, long term up until the end of the academic year.

The school is easily accessible by car and has its own car park for use of staff. Driving is not essential for this role, as the school is easily accessible via a bus route if public transport is required.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant & Welfare Assistant (part-time) - Blackpool you will:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school or early years setting i.e. nursery.
- Good written and oral skills for report writing, maintaining child records and providing feedback to parents/carers and colleagues.
- The ability to work in a team in order to achieve successful outcomes for learners.
- Hold a childcare/teaching assistant qualification, although this is not essential as training can be provided.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school or early years setting i.e. nursery.
