**About the role and our team**

Join our team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer for the Isle of Man Constabulary

We are looking for a part-time School Crossing Patrol Officer for Parliament Square, Ramsey to provide an invaluable service within the community, helping children and adults walk safely to school.

You will assist all pedestrians, but especially children, by stopping traffic to allow them to safely cross the road. You will use your keen observation skills and road awareness to ensure this is carried out as safely as possible whilst also keeping traffic flowing.

This post is Monday to Friday, term-time only, for 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the afternoon, which totals 7.5 hours per week.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you.

A uniform will be provided.
