matters for major infrastructure projects, our client portfolio stretches across the UK,

covering high-profile transport, energy, housing and regeneration projects. We are the

leading land advisor for DCOs having supported over 70 DCO projects to date. Ardent

offers comprehensive land and property support throughout the lifecycle of a project,

supporting projects from scheme feasibility, throughout promotion, examination and

construction and into operation. Delivering projects on programme and budget is at the

centre of our approach, together with providing clients with a flexible and responsive

services include:

- DCO/TWAO/Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) project management
- Consultation and objection management
- Acquisitions and land assembly
- Land Agency services
- Scheme development and optioneering
- Valuation and compensation
- Land referencing, plan production and notice serving
- Survey access
- Property acquisition strategy
- Data management and Atlas database
- Expert witness and Lands Chamber referrals

Ardent delivers a quality service for major infrastructure projects and is the market leader

in Development Consent Order (DCO) land referencing having delivered on over 70 DCO

projects.**
**So what does our service include?

**Key Accountabilities & Job Overview**:

- Application of a robust land referencing methodology to demonstrate

submitting
- Requests for Information (RFIs) and Land Interest Questionnaires (LIQs)
- Complex Land Registry title interpretation
- Land Data management
- Production of statutory compliant Books of Reference and Compulsory Purchase

Order Schedules
- Land Plans, Order Plans, Deposited Plans and Rights of Way Plans
- Securing Land Access for surveys
- Statutory acquisition notices such as Notices to Treat, Notices of Entry, Notices

of Intention and General Vesting Declarations
- Reporting of notice returns
- Preparation, placing and monitoring of site notices using mobile technology
- Land referencing experts at hearings or Public Inquiries
- Bespoke plans for Land & Works Agreements
- Consultation & Landowner Engagement services
- Support through the Optioneering process

**Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required**:

- Degree educated in an area, which broadly relates to Land - _typically a _
- Geography degree; but geospatial science, estate or property management and _
- planning degrees will also be considered_
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to follow clear instructions to tight time frames with limited supervision
- The ability to be able to communicate effectively - both verbally_ (face to face, _
- An understanding of the importance of handling confidential information
- The ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Accurate record keeping
- The ability to work in a team and to be able to delegate work effectively
- A positive approach to learning new skills and systems and a strong work ethic
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Word and

Excel

**Desirable**:

- An understanding of Land Registry title plans and registers
- An understanding of Compulsory Purchase legislation
- Familiarity of using GIS systems
- Driver / Full Driving Licence
