A prime contractor with modern offices in Knights Court, Birmingham Business Park, seeks a personable individual for a 12 month maternity cover as Proposal Coordinator.

The purpose of the role is to support the Bid Manager in producing bid content (graphics and text) for work winning tenders. The Proposal Coordinator will take ownership of Selection Questionnaire (SQ) and liaise with internal and external teams to produce quality answers to Invitation to Tender (ITT) sections. They will work with Proposal Manager/ Bid Manager on presentation styles and formatting of documents, including submissions and portal management.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Produce some written quality sections for SQs and assist with ITT answers, either from own knowledge or information elicited from the internal team
- Identify site issues, key stakeholders and client drivers to incorporate within the written submission and tailor our delivery strategy
- Proofread documents prior to submission
- Develop case studies and update CVs
- Attend internal mid-bid reviews and settlement meetings
- Help to ensure final tender are fully compliant with the tender requirements
- Help maintain library of suitable written content and collateral

**ADMINISTRATION**:

- Assist in preparation of mid and post tender responses
- Contribute to Precon/Comms meetings to share knowledge with the wider bid team
- Assist Proposal Manager/Bid Manager in continually improving the quality of submission

**Required Qualifications / Expertise**:

- A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Proven IT (Microsoft Office Suite) and InDesign skills are essential
- Experience of working within the bidding team, ideally for a Tier 1/2 Contractor within the industrial & logistics sector
- Experience of completing SQs, RFIs, ITTs and proofreading
- Firm grasp of grammar and accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities within demanding timescales.
- Able to work effectively as a member of the Preconstruction team

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From £35,000.00 per year
