Trainee Credit Controller

Welcome Furniture is one of the leading furniture manufacturers in the UK.

As a Trainee Credit Controller, you will learn all aspects of managing an assigned sales ledger which includes dealing with large national companies as well as small independent retailers. This work will include the following.
- Setting up customer accounts
- Performing credit checks
- Posting and allocating receipts
- Dealing with customer queries
- Reconciling credit and pro forma accounts
- Managing customer account balances including the monitoring of credit limits and chasing overdue debts
- Assist the Credit Control Manager with dispute resolution

Role requirements
- Minimum 5 GCSE including Maths and English
- Computer literate including use of Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word
- Good communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment and meet deadlines
- Confident in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Full clean driving licence
