We are looking for a Welding Inspector to work in the steel fabrication department.

We are currently looking for a temp to perm Welding Inspector to inspect and assess the quality and strength of welding work.

The company are specialists in mechanical and structural steelwork. They provide to the Rail, Construction and Nuclear sectors, working on some of the largest, most prestigious projects in the UK.

Duties
- Review and approve welding procedures.
- Verify welder and welding procedure qualification compliance.
- Verify safety requirements compliance.
- Develop visual inspection procedures and provide NDE inspection planning/scheduling.
- Review contract requirements and vendor/contractor compliance.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4.00pm, then Friday 7.00am - 2.00pm (30 minutes unpaid)

The pay rate is £13.50 per hour

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alfreton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
