Job Role: Mechanical Engineer / Designer (Simulation)

Location: Rugby (CV22) - Travel maybe required to other sites.

**Salary**: Negotiable (Dependant on experience)

Working hours: 40 Hour Week

**Job Type**: Full Time / Permanent

The Role

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for driving and understanding customer specifications both corporate and plant and
- Leader to ensure appropriate Technical solution is selected.
- Responsible for Technical solution meeting customer quality and volume requirements. Process and
- time cycle achievement targets.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a robotic simulation engineer
- Ability to design tooling for the BIW Automotive Sector including welding & riveting
- Process Simulate, Robcad Package knowledge
- Offline Programming knowledge (ABB & FANUC robot programmer knowledge)
- Good knowledge of ABB and Fanuc RCS/DCS module
- Good knowledge of robcad integration in to Process Simulate
- Good knowledge about controls (robot PLC communication)
- Good knowledge about safety implementation in to the layout
- Good working knowledge of CAE programs including Catia, Vision MockUp etc - Excellent computer knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in multicultural environment and willingness to travel.
- Cost Saving analysis.

Desired Skills/Abilities:

- Degree & Master in Engineering or Mechanical Design will be an a advantage
- Strong knowledge of tool process, and model creation
- Knowledge of Jaguar Land Rover's working practices and procedures
- Ability to manage and lead a team of engineers
