**M&E Operations Supervisor**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented M&E Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an M&E Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of meetings and events operations. Your organizational prowess, leadership abilities, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will contribute to the success of our clients' gatherings. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.75.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Coordination**: Supervise and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring meticulous planning, setup, and execution.
- **Client Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- **Staff Supervision**: Lead and motivate event staff, including servers, technicians, and support personnel, to ensure seamless event operations.
- **Event Setup**: Oversee the setup of event spaces, including seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and décor, according to client specifications.
- **Quality Assurance**: Maintain the highest standards of event services, including catering, audiovisual presentations, and room setup.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in managing event budgets, monitoring expenses, and optimizing cost-effective solutions.
- **Vendor Coordination**: Collaborate with vendors, such as caterers and audiovisual teams, to coordinate event logistics and deliver exceptional service.
- **Problem Solving**: Address any issues or challenges that may arise during events, finding prompt and effective solutions to ensure successful outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Event Management Experience**: Previous experience in meetings and events operations or a related field is preferred.
- **Customer Focus**: Exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and details simultaneously.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and team communication.
- **Leadership Skills**: Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities to guide and inspire event staff.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
