- Adecco Chelmsford are currently recruiting for our well-established client. They are looking for an export operator to join their operations department for their freight forwarding business. The role of the Export Operator is to control all aspects ofExport from start to finish. _

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Taking bookings and arranging export shipments from origin to destination
- Completing accurate export documentation including, NES entries, invoices
- All collections will take place in the UK and will mainly be depot to depot.
- There will be an aspect of COTs and DOTs cargo dependant.
- Liaising effectively with customers, hauliers, shipping lines, and overseas agents
- Planning groupage, part loads and full load consignments from the UK to Europe.
- Combining part loads with groupage to ensure the service level expected by customers are met
- Deal with some parts of customs such as customs clearance documents
- Previous experience in the shipping/freight forwarding sector
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- High level of speed and accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills with ability to work under pressure
- Hard-working, flexible with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
