**Quality Assurance Technician**

We are currently recruiting for UK’s largest cold pressed juice manufacturer. Based in Cambridgeshire, they supply their products nationwide and further afield, and are well known for the quality of both their products and their processes.

Due to continued growth and an expansion, they are looking to add some further support within their Technical Department. Working closely with Technical and Production team to ensure all goods meet the product and process specifications.

**Main Respons ibilities will include but will not be limited to**:

- Ensure all products are made to company specification including temperature, pH, specific gravity, and weight.
- Complete a series of checks to ensure accurate information is applied to the product label, and traceability is maintained.
- Ensure production equipment (e.g., Scales) are verified on a daily basis to demonstrate compliance.
- Quality control standards are met and QA documents are completed.
- Prompt reporting of issues when the product is non-conforming.
- Ensure compliance with all company and technical procedure.
- Promote and encourage a culture of high standards in food safety, quality and compliance leading by example.
- Highlighting areas of poor GMP and finding solutions to eradicate them.
- Health and Safety protocols are followed

**Skills required**:

- Working knowledge of food safety systems (including BRC).
- Direct experience of successful audits (including BRC).
- Strong and demonstrable attention to detail.
- Preferably be a holder of related qualifications including Food Safety, Food Hygiene, HACCP (Level 3), and Lead Auditor.
- Effective collaborative skills including building robust relationships/trust with all stakeholders.
- Excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and committed to ensuring a safe working environment for self and others.

**What’s in the package**:

- Salary £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM (flexibility required)
- 28 days annual leave
