This exciting and creative children’s brand offering iconic, imaginative products both in the U.K and worldwide is seeking a skilled & multi-disciplined Product Designer to join their friendly team, working across a range of exciting tasks from soft toys,Photo revisions, art working and print.

Working both independently and collaboratively with the sales and design teams on several projects, you will be developing trend-led designs to meet key deadlines and brand goals. You will also be getting involved with department and customer presentations,as well as supporting new product development for seasonal launches.

To thrive in this role, you will be an accomplished multi-disciplined Designer with advanced knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator, experience working with soft toys, têxtiles, trends or print with a positive and fun can-do attitude. An understanding and/orknowledge of consumer products is also advantageous. Most importantly though, you will be eager to get stuck in with a small, collaborative creative team

**Duties for this Product Designer role**:

- Researching upcoming trends, designs, and colours to be ahead of the competition and ensure the brand stays fresh and creative
- Editing designs, artworks and samples including photo revisions, colour correcting etc.
- Art working and preparing designs ready for production and print, including specifying colours, details and selecting fabrics.
- Assisting with the admin side of product development, including answering factory queries.
- Working with and briefing freelance designers
- Creating & amending product presentations for the company’s seasonal ranges
- Translating briefs into compelling designs in line with brand goals and requirements, driving strategy and product innovation
- Ensuring designs are in line with both the brand and target customers
- Creating and designing ideas for the company’s product range
- Supporting the in-house design team with design and art working requirements
- Being multi-disciplined: delivering designs and amendments for products, print, books, catalogues and sales material
- Collaborating and supporting the Brand team
- Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, supporting them with required materials to be used for customer meetings and product launches
- Attending and contributing to product, sales and design meetings as required
- Working closely with sales teams providing them with all sales materials required for new product launches
- Getting involved in trade show visuals, visual merchandising, design, set up and support where required

**Requirements for this Product Designer role**:

- Experience & skills working across graphics, print, têxtiles, and soft toys, with a demonstratable portfolio showcasing previous work
- Advanced Photoshop & Illustrator skills
- Experience creating bespoke designs on products and print
- Experience working across marketing materials such as books, têxtiles, and catalogues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects meeting tight deadlines
- Trend-aware with a genuine high interest in children’s consumer goods
- A positive attitude and a hard worker that enjoys a fast-paced environment and working across multiple areas of design
