ACS International Schools are recruiting an Assistant to Head Of Sports and Activities to join our Hillingdon campus on a maternity cover contract.

The Assistant to the Head of Sports and Activities reports directly to the Head of Sports and Activities and is an integral part in carrying out the daily, seasonal, and annual functions within the programme. The Assistant to the Head of Sports and Activities will work alongside the Head of Sports and Activities to aid with the overall management of the department.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Flexible working hours to allow for greater representation of the sports programme at events and in the school community and to, act as a liaison when hosting weekday games, seasonal tournaments, and trips abroad.
- Carry out daily administrative tasks to a high level of efficiency to ensure the stability of the programme
- Bring progressive and innovative ideas for improvement and growth of the athletics programme
- Be able to assist in recruiting dynamic, qualified and influential coaches
- To be versatile in the workplace and able to see though many tasks and projects with a high level of productivity
- Be visible in the community and a role model for students
- Show a commitment to the overall success of the programme

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- The Assistant to the Head of Sport and Activities will directly support the Head of Sports and Activities with the implementation of a robust sports programme.
- The person in this role will show a high level of competency as an assistant across many areas of administration, but equally important, will be able to work with people to be an influential and charismatic figure in the school.
- A customer service-oriented approach should be taken at all times with a drive to help progress the sports department to best serve the school community.
- The Assistant to the Head of Sports and Activities will demonstrate a high level of competency with organisation and technology in the office setting.
- People skills, industriousness, collegiality, and innovative thinking are paramount in the role.

**Working hours**: Monday
- Friday 08.30- 16.30, term time only.

**This is a fixed term maternity contract from April 2024- July 2025.**
