Crisis Support Worker

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust has an existing opportunity for band 4 employees and experienced band 3 employees looking to develop their skills as support worker with the Warren Crisis House. _
- The support worker will provide direct therapeutic engagement to services users in crisis, supporting them in a co-constructed manner, to move away from the crisis point and focus on desired future goals and solution building. _
- Mental Health support workers will be able to work with service users with the full range of mental health diagnoses who find themselves in a crisis and access Crisis Houses as an alternative to hospital. You will work very closely with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team who provide clinical direction and support. You will be proactive in seeking out the positive support networks available in the community for each individual which may help them in their recovery. _
- You will be able to support service users with emotional, social, physical and domestic needs. You will be skilled in engaging both service users and stakeholders and have a good understanding of the needs and diversity of those you will be supporting. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a therapeutic environment that at times can be challenging._
