Pertemps are supporting a large facilities organisation who are looking for a Procurement Controller to join the team. This role is essentially a team leader within the procurement team, you will be responsible for all the administration and client and company processes. It is essential that you have experience in a procurement or parts department previously.
- It is crucial that you have worked in a team leader type role previously, have strong communication skills and are able to liaise with the wider team, management and suppliers. This is a really busy role so it is essential that you can work in a fast-paced environment. This will be a fully office based role.
- **Role Responsibilities**:

- Have a full understanding of procurement.- Be able to provide support to management.- Have decision making and negotiation skills.- Ensure that the procurement process are followed.- Ensure the team’s training and development.- Be responsible for compiling/updating progress/status reports for clients.- Ensure effective and regular communication.- Responsible for ensuring controls are put in place to identify any outstanding purchase orders.- Manage reporting and statistical information.- Be responsible for updating progress and status reports for clients.- Be responsible for the administration of procurement processes: sourcing materials, raising POs, sourcing PODs (proof of delivery), create/monitor returns, goods movements, stock adjustments, suppliers: specific/generic, Client specific processes, bonded stock, free issue stock.- Responsible for recording legislative documentation to meet client and company recommendations.- Have previous experience in a Procurement role.- Have experience in a team leading role.- Be extremely comfortable using systems.- Strong communication skills.- Ability to build strong relationships.To find out more information please contact Codie Smith.
