The Product Owner is critical to that ambition.

**Overall Job Purpose**:

- Drive the success of Travelodge’s current and future digital assets. From a customer and company perspective. Web, mobile and physical.
- Working closely with other core parts of the digital team; as well as other closely affiliated areas (revenue, sales, IT, Customer Services).

**Responsibilities**:
**Supplier Management**:Take charge of managing MarTech supplier relationships, especially those involving data services, ensuring that they align with security and product requirements.

**Regulatory Adherence**: Act as a key leader in ensuring data compliance and protection across all digital products, with a focus on safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Serve as the Data Controller, responsible for ensuring strict adherence to data protection regulations, including ICO/GDPR rules, and staying informed about evolving compliance requirements.

**Data Strategy**:Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive data strategy, identifying opportunities for data-driven product enhancements and innovations. Establish and enforce data governance practices and standards, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within digital products.

**Prioritisation of Data Tasks**:Collaborate closely with the IT team to prioritise and manage the backlog, with a particular emphasis on data-related tasks that are critical for maintaining data integrity and compliance.

**Technical guidance**: Offer technical guidance to the Digital team, leveraging your background to assist in technical decision-making and provide insights.

**Essential**:

- Proven experience in supplier relationship management, preferably in a technology or digital product environment.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR and ICO guidelines.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security and compliance.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in web development, CSS and JavaScript. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
