**About us**

We are a family run business in the heart of Birkdale Village, now expanding we need to build on our exceptional team.

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information about our dishes and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area after guests leave
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment OR customer facing role
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed
- Ability to upsell menu items and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Culinary knowledge is a plus but not required
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.50-£10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
