Previous experience as a Support Worker isn't necessary, as comprehensive induction and on-the-job training is provided, including a career development pathway and range of courses to continue your training. **Where you will be working**:
Bradfield House is 10 bedded community-based learning disability service based in Worthing, located at 119-121 Heene Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 4NY The service provides specialist residential care for adults with a range of learning disabilities,including autism and sensory and communication impairments.

**What will you be doing**:
You will be involved with supporting day-to-day life of the service users, which will include help to get dressed, washing and bathing (personal hygiene), motivation, shopping, meal preparation, medication, medical appointments, laundry, light cleaning andsocial activities.

If you drive and hold a full UK driving license, then you will also have access to a company vehicle to safely escort and drive staff, visitors and service users to local destinations and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the vehicle's maintenanceand checks.

Day shifts are 7am-2.30pm or 2pm-9.30pm. Weekends on a rota basis.

**To be successful as a Support Worker, you will have**:

- Ability and resilience to deal with challenging behaviour
