**Your new company**
Envirowales is a forward looking recycling and metals manufacturing company, based in Ebbw Vale. We are looking to recruit a motivated individual who can work as an individual and as part of a team of flexible electrical and mechanical technicians, reportingto the Senior Engineer. This role involves days/afternoon shift work, day project/PPM work and being part of a call out rota.
**Your new role**
- Participate as a member of the multi-skilled Engineering team, working with other departments to improve performance and achieve objectives.
- Setting priorities from shift production teams' guidance.
- Breakdown maintenance.
- Significant involvement in project, development and installation work.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Timed served apprentice
- Minimum ONC, or equivalent qualification
- Experience with maintaining production equipment ideally within a heavy industrial environment, preferably metals or chemicals.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience with mobile access equipment (desirable)

Experience with the following is desirable:

- AC & DC systems
- PLC Systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi & Siemens)
- Instrumentation Systems (Thermocouples, Resistance Thermometers, Level control, Loop Control, Pressure Switches & Transmitters)
- Inverter drive control of motors
- Gas Burner Control Systems
- 3-phase Overhead Crane Systems
- General fault finding & diagnostics skills

Additional skills desirable:

- 18th edition I.E.E regulations
- Knowledge of Hydraulic/Pneumatic Control Systems
- FLT/MEWP Training
- CMMS experience
