Exam Invigilator

Reed Education recruiting for Exam Invigilators to work across North Wales/Powys and Shropshire to help support Secondary Schools with the upcoming busy exam period.

You will be part of a team responsible for providing support and internal examinations, including invigilating exams, monitoring exam rooms and ensuring examination regulations are adhered to. The working hours and flexible depending on the number and lengthof examinations taking place. They are scheduled as morning/and or afternoon sessions.
We are looking for anyone with a background of transferrable skills from a range of positions, whether that experience is from inside or outside the education sector. If you have experience within police or nursing, managing a group of people, retired teacheror have a flexible working pattern then we would love to discuss opportunities with you.

**The Role includes**:

- Exam invigilation and exam assistance
- Supporting smooth operation of examinations
- ensuring all students have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities
- Ensuring the security of the examination before, during and after
- Preventing administrative failures
- Supporting students with additional learning needs as a reader or scribe
- Data entry and examination administration
- Ensure a calm and orderly environment for exams
- Be punctual, flexible and a confident communicator who is comfortable in a high pressure environment.
- Have ability to emphasise with learners
- Support and promote the ethos of the school
- Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS
